Passive adapters rely on the Dual-Mode DisplayPort output (DP++) on your system in order to pass video and audio signals to an HDMI display. Adapter supports resolutions up to 3840×2160 @ 30Hz (4K) refresh rate. 2560×1440 and 1080p resolutions and lower support 60Hz.Please note: In order to display a 4K resolution the host''s graphics processor and attached display need to be 4K capable. CompatibilityPlugable''s MDPM-HDMIF adapter is compatible with Dual-Mode (DP++) Mini DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 2 ports on PC and Mac laptops, desktop and tablets.This adapter is not bi-directional and will not convert in the other direction. Dual-Mode DisplayPort source ports are often noted with a DP++ symbol next to the port itself.
